2019 Amazing Client Highlights

Sarah Lockman on First Apple with coach Scott Hassler after winning Pan Am Individual Gold Medal.

As 2019 comes to a close, and as Hassler Dressage prepares to move back to Florida to bring in the new year, we are grateful to our amazing clients and sponsors who helped make 2019 a year to remember!! Scott Hassler's California client Sarah Lockman riding Gerry Ibanez's First Apple won the Individual Gold Medal representing the United States at the PanAm Games, and this highest-scoring pair in all three classes helped secure the silver dressage team medal for the United States of America.  Sara Hassler with  Harmony's Boitano were third in the nation in the small tour at the national Festival of Champions,  and ended the year by sweeping all three classes in the CDI small tour competition at Devon, PA.   The year started strong, as Florida Training was exciting from the get-go -- Sarah Lockman flew her horses from CA and met her newly imported stallion, First Apple, owned by Gerry Ibanez, and trained with Scott Hassler through the month of December. When she debuted First Apple at the Burbank Festival of the Horse this spring, they won the highest score in both PSG and Intermediare I for the Pan American Selections and continued the winning streak with scores above 74 percent.

CDI at Global

Sara Hassler with Harmony's Boitano made a successful debut in the CDI Small Tour,  including two second place finishes with scores above 70 percent.

Hope Cooper with Hot Chocolate and Don Diamond earned multiple wins in the Under 25 division, placing her on top of the leader board nationally.

Jane Karol successfully completed her Sunshine Tour in the CDI Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle.

Lisa Pierson with Dallas D, successfully completed the CDI Small Tour..

Courtney Bolender on Chuck Schneider's Demetrius successfully completed the CDI Small Tour and continued their winning streak through regional championships and the CDI small tour in Devon, PA.

Harmony Sporthorses CDI Riders, Michael Klimke and Susan Pape also had a successful Florida season with a group of lovely horses.

On the National Side at Global:

Scott Hassler with Harmony's Star Agent won their debut in Intermediare II.

Luuk Mourits had a successful tour on Harmony's Dalton.

Melissa Vaughn had consistent high placings at Fourth Level.

Jane Karol's success continued with a win in Grand Prix.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL. We are grateful for our many clients who joined us in Florida and throughout the year, including Doug and Joanne Greene and Three Day Eventer, Phillip Dutton. A special shout out to our barn manager, Camelia Montalvo, for great progress with the three horses she had in training. We were thrilled to help three sale horses from Summit Stables, ridden and trained by Sara Hassler, find wonderful new homes.   We are excited   and look forward to all the joys our 2020 season will bring!!!
